In the four weeks I’ve been on holiday, the Broadway block of my neighborhood has gained a new trattoria, a Dunkin Donuts, a cute vintage clothing store, and at least one new Starbucks. A new couple is moving in downstairs, and construction is nearly finished on the townhouse across the street which was completely gutted a month ago. That’s a lot to happen in four weeks, isn’t it? At least my little apartment is exactly as I left it.
I need this to be my apt when I return to the city…
